Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the Project Management Practice strategy aligned with the organization's vision and service delivery model.
- Standardize project governance, frameworks, and best practices across Managed Services, Enterprise Solutions, and Software Solutions.
- Drive project portfolio alignment with strategic business goals and client outcomes
- Build a scalable PMO / practice organization supporting delivery across all verticals and geographies.
- Oversee the delivery performance of all enterprise projects, ensuring consistency in execution, reporting, and risk control.
- Provide consolidated visibility of all projects (pipeline, active, closed) across service lines through dashboards and KPIs.
- Implement stage-gate reviews, escalation mechanisms, and delivery assurance audits.
- Intervene in at-risk (“red”) projects and lead recovery planning when required.
- Define, maintain, and enforce the Project Management Framework (PMF) — including templates, tools, policies, and metrics.
- Integrate Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methods suitable for each line of business.
- Establish enterprise-level PMO governance for quality, compliance, and performance management.
- Ensure alignment with ITIL (for Managed Services), PMI/PMBOK (for Enterprise), and Agile/DevOps (for Software Solutions).
- Develop competency models for project managers, program managers, and PMO leads.
- Lead certification programs (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL) and mentorship initiatives, and develop a project management mindset among the internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement through training, lessons learned, and maturity assessments.
- Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance excellence.
- Oversee project financial governance — planning, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Optimize resource allocation across business lines to reduce bench cost and improve utilization.
- Ensure financial transparency and predictability in delivery cost vs. revenue contribution.
- Track benefit realization and return on investment (ROI) from major projects and programs.
- Act as a senior escalation point for internal and external project delivery issues.
- Engage with C-level leadership, business sponsors, and key clients to align priorities and expectations.
- Support sales and pre-sales in solution estimation, proposal review, and project scoping for enterprise clients.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with clients through transparent communication and delivery excellence, and be the key driver for steering committee meetings.
- Lead selection and adoption of portfolio management and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, Clarity, Smartsheet, or any other project management tools).
- Implement enterprise dashboards and analytics to track KPIs, risks, and financial metrics.
- Promote automation, AI-assisted estimation, and predictive project analytics across practices.
- Establish risk management frameworks to proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with client contracts, SLAs, and regulatory standards.
- Lead internal audits and delivery quality reviews to maintain high standards.
- Drive adherence to security, data protection, and compliance obligations across engagements.
- Benchmark organization delivery maturity against industry standards and continuously evolve.
- Promote innovation in methodology, tools, and customer engagement.
- Embed lessons learned and best practices into repeatable playbooks.
- Foster cross-practice collaboration to enable solution reuse and standardization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- 7+years of experience in project/program/portfolio management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing large-scale programs across Managed Services, Enterprise Solutions, and Software Development.
- Demonstrated success in building PMO practices and improving delivery maturity.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with executive-level presence.
- Deep understanding of IT delivery frameworks — PMBOK, Agile, ITIL, DevOps.
- Relevant certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum/SAFe), ITIL, or MSP preferred.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and risk management abilities.
