Signing a MOU with Thakral Global Learning
Sampath IT Solutions has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thakral Global Learning to become a non-exclusive reseller of their comprehensive IT training programs.
This collaboration will allow us to offer our clients a wider range of technical courses, certification programs, and skill enhancement workshops.

Engage - 2023
On the evening of December 12th, 2023, SITS transformed Kingsbury’s Balmoral Hall into a scene of anticipation and celebration. This year, the M.A.D. The team was in the spotlight, as their tireless dedication and groundbreaking work had propelled SITS to new heights. Their achievements, which included specific accomplishments, were loaded with thunderous applause, a testament to their valuable contribution. As the night drew to a close, one thing was clear: the future of SITS was bright, fueled by the passion, creativity, and unwavering spirit of its people.
Cyber Security Training
In today’s digital world, staying ahead of cyber threats is more crucial than ever. SITS recognized this, and recently they took a proactive step towards building a robust cyber defense by organizing a comprehensive cybersecurity training session for all their employees.
The session, led by renowned cybersecurity expert Mr. Sujith Christy, covered everything from identifying phishing scams to protecting sensitive data. Mr. Christy’s engaging delivery and real-life examples kept the audience engaged and eager to learn.
SITS collaborates with SLIIT Innovate
SITS continuous to work closely with local universities as a way to develop new products and processors. In this regard recently, in order to promote collaborative research and explore opportunities of co-creation, SITS entered into an agreement with SLIIT innovate on the 16th of February, 2023. Professor Lalith Gamage, Vice Chancellor / MD, SLIIT and Mr. Mangala Rodrigo, CEO of Sampath IT Solutions Ltd. signed the MOU. Prof. Samantha Thelijjagoda, Pro Vice Chancellor – Research & International, Dr. Nuwan Kodagoda, Dean, Faculty of Computing and Dr. Shanta R. Yapa, Director – SLIIT Innovate / Senior Academic Fellow, SLIIT Business School participated in this event. Mr. Udara Ariyarathne, Senior Manager – Innovation Practice, Ms. Madavi Gunasekara, Manager – HR & Admin., Ms. Rashini Kulasekara, Asst. Manager – Risk & Compliance, and Ms. Bhagya Chathurangika, Asst Manager – HR & Admin. represented Sampath IT Solutions Ltd.

In our continuous commitment to promote a conducive culture, where everyone has equal opportunities, SITS conduct annual get togethers. The recent year end party took place at Ramada Hotel Colombo in December 2022 and the event was filled with many fun activities.
Siyapatha and SITS get together
Siyapatha and SITS Night was held in December 2022 at Mount Lavinia Hotel. The event promoted unity and friendship among the members of the two organizations.

In order to upgrade the knowledge of our employees and also to help the technology vendor, SITS conducted the Think Smart program in collaboration with Oracle and Sampath Bank. This initiative enabled us to upgrade our knowledge and also to share valuable insights with both parties involved.
Tech Talk with Sampath Bank, Plexus and hp
Embracing new technology is vital to retain competitiveness. SITS continuously emphasizes acquiring and decimating new knowledge. SITS together with HP, Plexus and Sampath Bank conducted a knowledge-sharing forum on October 2022.

KARAOKE-EVE
In promoting unity and friendship among the members of the staff, a karaoke event was held in office premises where a large number of staff members participated. Our employees took this opportunity to enjoy outside of their regular work schedules.
Such entertaining events organized by SITS are done with the intention of fostering unity and thus creating more engagement at work.
Cricket Fiesta
Cricket Fiesta 2022 was yet another sports event organized by SITS. The final matches were played at Angampitiya Grounds on 1st of October.
